“Is he really going to climb that?”
Ryan pointed at the high stone wall.
“This fortress, covered in gold, probably doesn’t even have a small hole,” he said, shaking his head and pointing to the dead soldiers lying silently on the ground.
“Or do you want to fight them all?”
Then, he gave a thumbs-up.
“This is the perfect way to sneak in.”
It was shocking how accurate Ryan’s plan was.
The guards, who had confirmed the intruders’ presence, had quietly fallen asleep (location: the afterlife), and no one knew what was going on.
If they went in this way, it would truly be a stealth mission…
“Plus!”
Ryan pointed to one of the frozen survivors.
“We’ve got a free guide!”
The only soldier left alive was Janis, the leader of the army.
Ryan casually walked up to him and put an arm around his shoulder as if they were old friends.
“You, kid, almost got us into trouble by talking too much, but you shut up and didn’t even pull out your sword. You’ve got some sense.”
Yanis, with his eyes wide open, was frozen in place.
Looking closely, his body trembled uncontrollably, and tears were falling from his eyes.
“Hey, man, why are you crying? Stop! Ahh!”
Was it because he told him to stop crying? Janis continued to sob and Ryan was horrified to see urine running down his legs.
“What the hell, why are you pissing yourself? Want to die?”
“I… I’m sorry… please, spare me…”
“Fine. I’ll spare you, but you better listen to me. Are they all inside?”
“Yes, yes…”
“Don’t stutter or you’re dead.”
“Yes.”
“Where is Krista Bassenberg?”
“She is isolated. She wasn’t in the meeting hall.”
Ryan quickly understood the situation. Janis, who had been around for a long time, could sense what Ryan was after.
“She’s really locked up? That crazy rabbit.”
Ryan gave a thumbs-up to Kali, or rather, me, and then turned back to Yanis.
“I expected that. Now, tell me exactly where she’s locked up.”
“I don’t know. I only heard she was locked up because she caused trouble. I have no idea where.”
Yanis continued to cry as he spoke. His fear of dying was obvious.
Ryan didn’t need to judge whether Janis was lying or not. The desperation in his reaction said it all.
“Alright, then let’s go. Oh, wait!”
Ryan seemed to suddenly remember something.
“I never said why I’m here! That would make me an intruder, huh?”
He gave a weird explanation.
“Listen, I was summoned, but my father forgot to invite me. Then I got a message from my older brother, and here I am, the fifth son of this house.”
Ryan laughed as he looked at Yanis, who was trembling.
“From now on, introduce me to everyone like that and guide me to the meeting room.”
It was an audacious plan to walk straight into the meeting hall with the trembling guide beside him. Would it work?
Of course, it didn’t matter to me.
I stepped out of Kali’s shadow.
Yanis was stunned when he saw me suddenly appear.
“What? Why are you here?”
“We’re splitting up now, right? You want to walk in with Dad while I need to search around with Kali?”
“Oh, right. So what…?”
I moved past Ryan, approached Yanis, and stood like a thug. I reached out my hand.
“You got the sapphire medal from your father, right?”
Yanis immediately pulled out the badge from his uniform and handed it to me.
“Free pass secured.”
I winked at Ryan, who clicked his tongue.
“Are you a thug?”
“Who’s talking?”
I handed the sapphire medal to Kali and stepped back into her shadow.
Ryan, still holding onto Janis, cheerfully shouted,
“Now, off to see dear old Dad and my brothers!”

Yanis, who had loyally served the Bassenberg family all his life, was now opening the path for a mass murderer.
The guards stationed throughout the castle knew Yanis’ face, and when he entered with Ryan, no one questioned them.
Anyone who looked suspicious was quickly silenced.
Ryan’s plan was working perfectly.
As they got closer to the meeting hall, the guards grew more alert, but Yanis was still leading the way.
When they reached the door to the meeting hall, Yanis called for the guards to leave, as he was the head of the Bassenberg soldiers.
They all saluted him and left without questioning.
“Wow, really? You’re quite high-ranking!” Ryan was surprised as he watched Janis open the path so easily.
“Thanks.”
Ryan gave Yanis a pat on the shoulder and asked, “How much do you make a year?”
“Excuse me?”
Yanis’s heart skipped a beat. He knew what Ryan was asking.
“100,000 gold.”
“Yikes!”
“You don’t need to pay me that much. In fact, don’t pay me at all. I’ll serve you loyally.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Ryan frowned.
“You’re a guy making 100,000 gold, yet you lead a murderer straight to the heart of your family’s home?”
In an instant, Yanis’ body collapsed.
The punch from Ryan was so strong, it knocked Yanis against the wall.
“Ugh!”
Before Yanis even had time to react, Ryan’s henchman Max grabbed his lifeless body and shoved it into the hallway.
“Someone making 100,000 gold and still betraying his family…”
“Well, we’ll give you a raise when we get back.”
The nobleman cleared his throat and opened the meeting hall door.
“I’m sorry for the delay!”
“I’m sorry for the delay!”
The door suddenly swung open, and Edgar, sitting in the high chair, looked up to see a familiar face.
Ryan.
As soon as Edgar saw his son, he acted instinctively.
He immediately blocked all supernatural powers and ordered his guard,
“Bring Krista.”
It took less than three seconds for Edgar to give the order.
The guard, who was standing next to Edgar, approached the door to the meeting hall.
Of course, Ryan blocked his way.
“Where are you going?”
Ryan asked, and the guard didn’t even bother answering.
“Well, if you want to go, go ahead.”
Ryan stepped aside with a chuckle.
The guard was sent to bring Krista.
Ryan stepped into the quiet meeting room and looked around.
There were six superhumans, excluding Krista and Richard, and ten of their subordinates.
The walls were lined with guards, each standing like statues.
“Father! Why am I excluded from the family meeting? I’m hurt!”
Ryan pouted at Edgar, who remained silent. Everyone in the room was frozen in shock.
“What… who are you?”
The first to stand up, looking stunned, was David.
“Oh, brother!” Ryan said cheerfully, walking over to him.
“What’s the deal? You told me to bring all my soldiers and mercenaries, so I did!”
“What?”
David frowned.
“You told me to bring them to my territory, why are you here…?”
David didn’t finish his sentence.
Ryan punched him.
Thud!
David flew across the room and slammed into the wall.
“Ahh!”
“Haha!”
Ryan grinned and continued to punch David repeatedly, mocking him.
“How many times have I wanted to do this?”
“How should I kill you?”
With each punch, David’s face became more unrecognizable.
Ryan’s voice was filled with excitement and rage.
“I can’t stop…”
Ryan’s relentless punches turned David’s face to mush, and no one could bear to watch.
Ryan’s laugh echoed through the room, a crazed sound.
“Hahaha!”
