Chapter 6: Let the Female Master Punish Me Severely
Amidst the lush greenery, Ziye’s head peeked out, watching the scene unfold.
He shrugged, wearing an expression of helplessness.
“You brought this on yourself; why should I care?”
Luoluo felt as if her insides were being torn apart. Ignoring the bystander Ziye, who refused to help, she hurriedly summoned the system.
“Xiaobai, Xiaobai, save me!”
System: “Ahem, please, host, we’re not that familiar yet. Don’t call me so casually. Use my full name: Evil Female Redemption System.”
Luoluo: “Stop talking nonsense and just save me.”
System: “Sorry, I can’t help you either.”
Almost the instant the system finished speaking, Luoluo was thrown back into the river.
This time, it took her great effort to climb out. Just as she lifted her head, she saw a huge figure kneeling before her.
The broad body blocked out all the sunlight, and Luoluo instinctively tried to dodge.
Chiyao, however, lowered his head like a child who had done something wrong, his humble body almost touching the ground.
“Forgive me, Female Master, I’ve harmed you.”
Luoluo had just taken two tentative steps back when she heard this and turned, her face lighting up with joy.
“You… you’ve calmed down?”
“I am not human, Female Master. Please punish me severely.”
Chiyao drew several thick whips from his waist. “Female, which one do you prefer today?”
Luoluo twitched at the corner of her mouth. She had no desire to abuse anyone, nor did she have any S or M tendencies.
The original owner of her body was cruel, whipping Chiyao so severely that he couldn’t walk for days. She even sent him into the forest to find thicker whips that hurt more, simply to vent her frustrations.
Under constant oppression, Chiyao had long grown accustomed to the daily beatings. If she ever skipped a day, he would feel uneasy and unsettled.
Today, however, he had the audacity to harm the noble Female Master.
“Female Master, go ahead and strike. I will not cry out.”
The Female Master enjoyed striking him, but did not like hearing his cries. This time, he promised not to scream, even if it killed him, to ensure her happiness.
Ziye jumped down from the tree and approached Chiyao, mocking him. “And you still call her ‘Female Master’? She sold you out, remember?”
Chiyao blinked his large eyes. “I was sold? That must mean I wasn’t good enough. No matter what, she will always be my Female Master, my only Female Master.”
Luoluo couldn’t help but smile at such a simple and loyal statement from the male.
She glanced at Ziye lightly, thinking: Learn something from him.
She reached out to lift Chiyao and softly said, “I won’t hit you. I’ll never hit you again.”
As she spoke, one of the four cat claw marks on her neck disappeared.
System notification: “Congratulations, host. Because you expended your energy healing Chiyao after being beaten half to death by him, your rank has decreased.”
Luoluo frowned in annoyance. “Damn Xiaobai, haven’t you changed your notification sound yet?”
Really, could the system stop congratulating her for everything?
She had dropped from a fourth-rank beastman to third-rank, far weaker than before.
At fourth rank, she could barely withstand Chiyao’s frenzied attacks. As a third-rank rookie, she could easily have died in seconds.
Ziye and Chiyao noticed the disappearing claw marks on Luoluo’s neck. Ziye squinted, thrilled.
“You dropped a rank to save him, hahaha.”
Fourth-rank Luoluo wasn’t his match, and third-rank Luoluo was insignificant. On this dangerous, wild island, she could be killed by other beastmen at any moment.
Following his principle of “no action unless necessary,” Ziye looked at Chiyao.
Eh, forget it, this fool is still wallowing in guilt.
Looks like he’ll need to find another beastman to use as a pawn.
“Female Master, it’s my fault. Please punish me.”
Chiyao handed the whips to Luoluo again. Today, she had saved him, and because of him, she lost a rank. His guilt was overwhelming.
System notification: “Congratulations, host. Chiyao’s favorability has reached 10. Reward: Natural Soapberry Shampoo x1, Rose-scented Body Wash x1.”
Luoluo’s eyes brightened. This black-skinned athlete was much easier to deal with than the sly and cunning Ziye.
The former was simple-minded and bound by beastly loyalty, while the latter was scheming, always looking for ways to manipulate others.
Though the system’s rewards were underwhelming — a grenade or missile would be better than shampoo and body wash.
Luoluo touched one of Chiyao’s intact horns and smiled. “It’s fine. If you feel guilty, just…”
She looked around. The sun was about to set, and her soaked body felt an unprecedented chill.
“…just gather some dry branches for me. The more, the better.”
Beastmen had no concept of firewood, so Luoluo had to specify dry branches.
“All right, I’ll go get them.”
Before leaving, Chiyao reminded Ziye, “Take care of our Female Master.”
Ziye gritted his teeth in anger. “She is not my Female Master. She sold me out.”
“Then why are you standing here?”
“I… I want to see her die with my own eyes.”
Chiyao chuckled. This guy is all talk; I won’t bother with him.
Back when Ziye wanted Luoluo’s love, he had often bullied Chiyao and ten other beastmen, relying on his status as the first beastman.
Once Chiyao left, Ziye glared at Luoluo. “Tell me, what scheme do you have this time? Heal him, treat him well so he obeys you completely, and then abandon him, right?”
Just like before, Ziye had witnessed Luoluo’s fondness for Chiyao. He had secretly been jealous, and in hindsight, he realized he had been foolish.
How could one develop feelings for such a cruel, heartless person?
Exhausted, Luoluo didn’t bother explaining. She took a piece of meat from her animal hide bag and handed it to the two cubs. “Eat something first.”
Akang pushed the enticing meat away. “When I grow up, I’ll kill you.”
Ajin pulled a face. “I won’t eat the Evil Female’s food. I’ll kill you too.”
Ziye was pleased with their reactions. He took some dried fruits from his pocket and gave them to the cubs.
“Here, eat this.”
The cubs looked at the food: large, juicy meat on the left, and dry, unappetizing fruit on the right.
Ajin hesitated; his stomach growled uncontrollably.
Luoluo smiled and shoved a piece of meat into his hand. “Eat more. You need strength to kill me.”
Then to Akang: “If you want to kill me, survive first.”
The cubs exchanged glances. The Evil Female’s logic seemed fair.
Ajin was the first to bite the meat, growling, “I’ll kill you after I’m full.”
His stomach rejoiced; he had never eaten such a large piece of meat before, having only ever had scraps.
The Evil Female had told them they weren’t noble cubs, but cheap losses. Just one bite was already generous.
Luoluo handed another piece to Ziye. “Have some too.”
Ziye looked at the dry fruit in his hand, snatched the fresh meat, and began chewing enthusiastically.
A good beast doesn’t miss out on what’s in front of him. He still wanted to see Luoluo die, but couldn’t starve first.
Luoluo tried a bite of the raw meat in her hand. Yuck!
Being someone who couldn’t even tolerate sashimi and preferred steak medium-well, raw meat was impossible to eat.
Seeing her refuse the meat, Ziye suddenly grabbed the cubs and started clawing at their throats.
“Spit it out! You can’t eat this meat!”
Akang belatedly realized, “Did the Evil Female poison it?”
Ziye didn’t bother explaining and continued clawing at their throats.
