“It’s a magic contract,” the young lady said.
“It says they’re hiring a servant for a high-ranking noble’s mansion in the capital.”
Why would something like that be in her drawer?
“Before you sign, there’s something you should know. Once you enter that mansion, you can never leave until the contract ends.”
Even stranger, that mansion had a rule that you can’t go outside at all.
‘Get kidnapped and forced into marriage by an old butler’s son’
or
‘Work as a servant in a mysterious noble household.’
Those were my only two choices. There was no time to think.
“It’s okay. I probably won’t die, right?”
I took the quill pen she gave me and signed my name at the bottom of the contract.
Then, the name written in black ink began to glow brightly.
It was a light that would decide my fate.
