Chapter 13
Dohun slowly began to speak.
“Yeo Eunha was the one who first proposed that ridiculous marriage. I agreed for practical reasons. So, Jin Seongwoo, it’s none of your business.”
“Choi Dohun!”
“And in this world, many people marry based on matching conditions. If you think about it that way, it’s not such an abnormal marriage.”
Dohun truly believed that. That’s why he could be so confident.
He was holding her three years and her child as collateral, but he intended to compensate her amply with money.
Perhaps he could even give her more than the 10 billion she wanted.
Thinking of it that way, he felt Eunha was hardly in a losing position either.
“Do you even know how much younger Eunha is than us?”
Seongwoo tried to persuade him one last time. No matter what, using such a young woman like this wasn’t right.
But Dohun’s answer defied Seongwoo’s expectations.
“I’m different from you, Jin Seongwoo.”
“What?”
“It means I prefer them younger. She’s exactly my type.”
Dohun retorted while subtly making eye contact with Eunha. And in that moment, Eunha’s face flushed a bright red.
Here, ‘my type’ clearly referred to a sexual preference, no matter who heard it.
Eunha was confused about whether she should feel offended or if it was okay, but her heart alone raced madly as if it were broken.
Seongwoo seemed shocked too, closing his mouth with wide, surprised eyes.
“So, don’t interfere any further. No matter how close we are as friends, I won’t forgive it.”
Despite Dohun’s sharp words, Seongwoo couldn’t say anything in response. That’s how shocking Dohun’s words were.
“Yeo Eunha, shall we go? Unless you want to discuss the marriage details here too.”
“Huh? Ah… Yes.”
Dohun had emphasized the word ‘marriage’. It seemed like the best way to resolve the situation.
Eunha, who had been clutching her racing heart until then, quickly snapped back to reality at his words and began clearing the table.
“…Leave it. I’ll do it.”
Seongwoo, still wearing a dazed expression, looked at Eunha and spoke. Even in the midst of this, he couldn’t bear to watch her clear the table.
He cared for Eunha this much…
The thought of this Eunha, no matter what, marrying Dohun and even having sex with him made the hair on the back of his neck stand on end.
“She says she’ll do it herself, so just leave?”
“Ah… Alright.”
A hint of irritation flashed in Dohun’s tone, making Eunha hesitate before she picked up her bag and stood.
“…Oppa, I’ll be going now.”
Unable to hide her apologetic face, Eunha bowed politely and left the studio with Dohun.
After the two disappeared, Seongwoo slumped onto the sofa.
Dohun took Eunha down to the parking lot.
He stopped in front of a sleek, high-end sedan, opened the passenger door, and gestured for her to get in with a tilt of his head.
“Get in.”
The car, perhaps resembling its owner, felt clean and sophisticated.
As soon as Eunha got into the car, the citrus-woody scent emanating from him tickled her nose.
It was that scent she couldn’t forget for a long time after spending the night with him.
His words from earlier were already etched in her mind, swirling in her head, and now the image of him in bed naturally superimposed itself.
‘It means I prefer them younger. She’s exactly my type.’
Was that true?
Was that why this usually cold and proper man had been so persistently relentless in bed?
Thinking about it, if it was his preference, then it was fortunate for Eunha. It was true she had been worried that her lack of experience with men might mean she couldn’t satisfy Dohun.
Just the thought of it made Eunha’s face turn red. Afraid her inner thoughts might be discovered, she clenched and unclenched her fists, trying not to show it.
“You’re bolder than I thought.”
“Huh?”
Dohun spoke up then. Eunha, not understanding what he meant, blinked and looked at him.
“So even Seongwoo didn’t know. Your true feelings?”
“…Yes.”
Of course, she couldn’t have told him. If she had, he never would have introduced them.
Even without saying it, Eunha knew well how much Seongwoo cared for her. So if he had known she was considering such an absurd marriage, he would never have allowed it.
But Seongwoo’s reaction had been much fiercer than she’d anticipated, which weighed heavily on her mind. Moreover, she felt sorry for causing Dohun to misunderstand unnecessarily.
Hesitantly, Eunha opened her mouth.
“Um, Mr. Dohun.”
“Speak.”
“Please don’t misunderstand. Really, between Seongwoo Oppa and me, we are not involved in that way at all.”
Instead of answering, Dohun just stared intently at Eunha.
His gaze was so intense it made her fluster for a moment, but Eunha finished what she wanted to say.
“Oppa must have been really baffled to be misunderstood because of me.”
“I’m the one who’s baffled.”
“Huh?”
“Didn’t you lie to me, saying you didn’t want to eat dinner?”
“……”
“And yet you enjoyed a late-night snack with Seongwoo?”
Eunha closed her mouth. How did he know? That she had been so uncomfortable with Dohun she couldn’t even eat a meal with him.
Only then did she think it was understandable for him to misunderstand.
After all, Dohun was the one she was going to marry. She avoided him because it was uncomfortable, yet she had personally bought and brought snacks for Seongwoo.
Eunha didn’t know how to explain herself and unconsciously bit her lip. It was a habit of hers when she was in a difficult spot.
Dohun looked at her, let out a short laugh, and added,
“If you keep chewing on it like that, I’m going to kiss you.”
“Pardon…?”
“Didn’t you hear? I said you’re amazingly my type.”
Was he teasing her?
Just as Eunha, unable to read his intentions, kept her wavering pupils fixed on him, Dohun pulled her head towards him with his large hand and then, true to his word, pressed his lips against hers.
“Mmph! Mr. Dohun…!”
Eunha’s following words were swallowed by his lips. It was because his soft flesh pushed in relentlessly through her lips, which had parted in surprise.
Flustered, Eunha struggled in his embrace, but Dohun locked his lips with hers even deeper, not allowing even a sliver of space.
His flesh, which had crossed into her territory, sometimes rough, sometimes soft, swam around, helplessly breaking her down.
Every time Dohun’s tongue traced the gaps between her teeth, Eunha’s mind grew faint, enough to make her feel like fainting.
She didn’t understand why he was acting like this now.
But even though she disliked him acting so rudely and arbitrarily, her body instinctively melted into his.
It was so sweet, an experience where every cell in her body came alive… she simply couldn’t refuse him.
Eunha was vividly feeling how a kiss alone could be so intoxicating.
“Mmph. D-Dohun, sir.”
How much time had passed? Eunha, startled by the cold sensation probing between her thighs, struggled once more.
Was the problem that she hadn’t refused the hand groping her chest while they kissed?
His hand was now boldly exploring the area between her thighs.
The thought that if this continued, things could go all the way here made Eunha’s mind snap back to attention.
“S-stop it. We’re in a parking lot.”
Eunha, barely regaining her senses, pleaded with him.
Only then did Dohun snap out of it.
When he pulled his lips away, Eunha’s face was a mess.
Her lipstick was smeared unattractively, and the area around her lips was a mess with saliva.
Tears glistened in the corners of her eyes.
And her clothes? The blouse, which had been neat, was wrinkled and undone, revealing more than half of her breasts.
Her skirt was also hitched up, exposing her thighs.
‘I’ve really lost it, Choi Dohun.’
This was clearly the act of a madman, no matter who saw it.
He had always prided himself on being cool-headed and rational.
It was the same with women. Until now, due to his trauma regarding his mother, he had never kept a woman by his side, and even on the rare occasions he did, it was always dry and emotionless, ending after a few months.
But when he was with Eunha, he kept losing his rationality, and his instincts took over.
Dohun himself couldn’t understand his own actions and shook his head.
If Eunha hadn’t stopped him there, he might have sated his lust right then and there.
Just the thought of doing such a thing in this bright public place was dizzying, but it showed just how excited Dohun had been.
Even now, the guy down there was endlessly swollen, sending strong cries demanding to be let out of his clothes.
Of course, Dohun hadn’t initially intended to go this far.
Seeing Eunha unable to offer any excuse and just biting her lip in embarrassment, he had said it half-jokingly.
He was bothered by her biting her perfectly fine lip until it bled, and it was also true that looking at those lips stirred a strong impulse in him to taste their remembered sweetness once more.
But that was it. He was thirty-two years old, surely he could resist that level of temptation.
But then he saw Seongwoo hurriedly entering the parking lot as if he had more to say to them. That was the trigger.
They say a woman’s intuition is scary, but a man’s shouldn’t be underestimated either.
Dohun had kissed Eunha intentionally, thinking he had to make Seongwoo give up somehow.
And ultimately, he succeeded. Seongwoo had been so shocked he stared blankly for a while before disappearing behind a pillar.
He should have stopped the kiss there then…
But Dohun couldn’t. He ended up kneeling to his instincts, unknowingly sinking deep into the kiss with Eunha.
