My hand was grabbed by Yu Jin, and the strength between his five fingers was more than I could bear.
“Let go. If you don’t hurry and accompany your little lover to the hospital, aren’t you afraid something might happen to the child?” I swept him with a cold glance, shook off Yu Jin’s hand, and walked toward the door.
Yu Jin didn’t chase after me, which was exactly as I had expected. In some ways, she and I were actually somewhat alike.
No matter what, she refused to let go of her airs.

I stared at her coldly. “Make her leave.”

I sneered inwardly. After all, she hadn’t married Yu Jin at all, yet she still had the nerve to call her that.
I kept my eyes fixed on my mother-in-law and immediately noticed that her originally hard, cold expression had softened. She looked at Fang Tian with some difficulty, though only for a moment.
She realized that in this household, she was the one with the greatest authority, so she put on a stern face again. “No.”
I gave a cold “heh-heh” laugh. My mother-in-law was always this kind of person. Having already anticipated the outcome, I wasn’t surprised. I simply found a chair and slowly sat down. “This is the best solution.”
Supporting myself on the edge of the chair, my fingers slid back and forth along it restlessly. I knew she wouldn’t compromise, but I didn’t want to compromise either. The atmosphere grew stiff and deadlocked.
Then suddenly, a shrill voice cut through the silence. “Meng Yanshuang, aren’t you being too excessive? Ajin and I are true love. Is it really right for you to keep clinging to him like this?”
“How can you be so cruel?”
It was Fang Tian. She was already crying like a pear blossom drenched in rain. Two tear tracks marred her sweet face, yet there was a trace of vicious light in her eyes.
Of course, if Yu Jin were here, he would definitely think that I was bullying Fang Tian.
I let out a laugh and suddenly stood up, moving quickly. My lower abdomen felt slightly uncomfortable, but standing in front of her like this could still give her a sense of pressure.
