One Bite for You, One Bite for Me
“Mistress…”
Lu Liufeng wanted to say that he really didn’t need to eat, but seeing the mistress looking so flustered, the words died on his lips.

Jiang Xi smiled triumphantly, then began eating.
In the end, Lu Liufeng still fried another steak and deliberately placed the tender pieces onto the mistress’s plate.

“Suo?”
Suo’s pale yellow beast eyes lit up.
He hadn’t expected the mistress to remember his name.
Jiang Xi asked, “Why are you here? Did you come for something?”
“I…I…” Suo crouched outside the yard, hesitant, afraid to enter.
“I heard the mistress is going to the glacier. I…I just came to see if there’s anything I can help with.”
Jiang Xi hadn’t expected that he came for this, thinking him an adorable little beastman.
Thinking further, the little beastman had no parents, wasn’t well-treated, and was all alone; her heart softened a bit.
“Come inside and talk.”
“Have you eaten?” The highest form of greeting.
Suo swallowed but still said,
“Yes, I have.”
He carefully stepped into the yard with his long limbs.
Watching this oversized little cat approach, Jiang Xi couldn’t resist touching him.
As soon as the little beastman reached her side, she reached out and ruffled his head twice.

Suo stiffened. Beastmen’s heads shouldn’t be touched casually.

Suo was stunned.

The water in the pot was still hot. Jiang Xi ignored his stubbornness and ladled a bowl of potato noodles for him.

The bigger one for the little beastman, the smaller one just for show.
But after putting the potato noodles in the bowl, Jiang Xi looked at the little beastman’s cat-like form and realized a problem.
He… probably can’t use chopsticks, right?
