I paused for a moment to think, but no matter how much I tried, I had never encountered a quest even remotely like this before.
So, to explain this situation, the only reasonable explanation seemed to be some kind of possession.

Fragmented knowledge I shouldn’t possibly know… yet somehow do.
It seemed that I had partially inherited the memories of this body, Rapiel Ester.

So, this first quest was essentially…
the quest that contained the crafting process for the first unique skill of a Seraphist, the Lumen Alchemy Formula.

This class guide feels surprisingly generous.

Even going so far as to let me possess an ancient NPC.

Normally, main class quests are designed to help players understand the class.
But the Alchemist of Light class had been so unfriendly up to now… I worried it might hand me some bizarre quest.
Yet, judging by the current flow, it’s a solid, standard guide quest.
Following it as instructed should lead to a clear and safe completion.

Yes. It’s good to have a quest that eases you in a bit.

Because in Rapiel’s mind—my mind now—I already know exactly how to create the ‘vessel for ego’.
If I just follow the memories that were implanted in my mind, I could easily clear the quest given by the old man.

Perhaps the constellations’ rule for calculating quest difficulty was the part I had most painfully experienced during beta play.
Simply put, the rarer the hidden class Alchemist of Light, the higher the difficulty of its related quests.
So, what’s the objective rarity of my class?

Even in beta, after countless eons of play, I’d never once seen it.
So the constellations’ words meant… even if the quest unfolds kindly, the difficulty will never be easy.

By hunting Dracos and collecting dragon bones and dragon scales, you can increase your understanding of the dragon soul.
Following Rapiel’s preserved memory, if you reproduce the Draco Alchemy he created, the reward will scale with the formula’s completion.

Quest Completion Conditions:
A. Achieve 60% understanding of [Alchemy Target: Draco]
Reward: Skill Point +1
B. Achieve 80% understanding of [Alchemy Target: Draco]
Reward: Skill Point +2
C. Achieve 90% understanding of [Alchemy Target: Draco]
Reward: Skill Point +3

Skill points are granted after all related quests are completed.
Failing to reach 60% understanding yields no reward.

Anyone familiar with Lyka would probably react like this:

How is this a sub-quest?

Is the option to abandon this even technically available?

Skill points are very rare in Lyka.
The system usually grants them only through main class quests, and normally one clears a chapter to get 1–2 points.
Typically, a player can collect around 10 SP before their second class change.
So a sub-quest giving 3 SP is effectively forcing completion.
Skipping it isn’t even imaginable—it’s too good a reward.

A single SP roughly equates to combat power 3 levels higher.
Skipping this quest would cost me around 10 levels of advantage.
Moreover, SP carries over through 2nd or 3rd job changes, unless switching to a completely different class.
Considering the exponential value of levels, 3 SP is priceless.

Dracos there were around level 60.
According to the lore, dragons cannot be below level 60.
So this dungeon represents the lowest level field with dragons.

Of course, trying to fight them at my current level will be insanely difficult…
