Chapter 88: Wave of Pleasure
Selya wrapped her arms around Dietrich’s neck.
Something soft pressed inside, brushing against the tender flesh of her mouth before gliding over her teeth.
As Selya kissed Dietrich, she felt vitality surging through her body.
Soft moans slipped from between Selya’s lips, but Dietrich blocked them all.
Dietrich’s hands slid down over the negligee Selya was wearing.
Selya did not resist his touch.
His hands burrowed through the fabric of her negligee.
Feeling her head grow warm and heat spread through her entire body, Selya clutched Dietrich’s neck tightly.
As they kissed, Dietrich removed his armor.
He even loosened his tunic beneath the armor before lifting Selya into his arms and collapsing onto the bed.
Thud—
Selya moved her hands from Dietrich’s neck to his back.
Dietrich persistently touched the areas that made Selya shiver.
Every nerve in her body stood on end. Her toes curled instinctively, and her mind went completely blank.
Selya gasped for breath.
Looking down at her, Dietrich smiled softly.
“Use me, Selya.”
At Dietrich’s words, Selya looked up at him.
“…What do you mean?”
Dietrich traced her saliva-moistened lips and whispered lazily.
“I mean, use me as a healing remedy for your limited-time body.”
Use.
For some reason, hearing that word made Selya’s heart ache.
Of course, at first, she had intended to use Dietrich.
Just as he had tried to use her, she had tried to use him.
But not anymore.
Selya gently caressed Dietrich’s cheek.
In his red eyes, only Selya was fully reflected.
From the very first moment, she could not look away from his eyes, flames burning like blood. Selya smiled faintly.
“Dietrich.”
Her hand slid down from his cheek to the nape of his neck.
The scar made by a cheap dagger had faded considerably over time. Selya lingered on it for a moment.
“Don’t speak like that.”
She placed her hand on Dietrich’s firm chest.
Desire surged in Dietrich’s eyes as he looked at her.
Seeing him, a mix of possessiveness and lust, Selya spoke.
“I’m doing this not to heal, but because I want to.”
Selya kissed Dietrich.
Smack.
As if unsatisfied with the light kiss, Dietrich cradled the back of her neck and kissed her again.
He pressed intensely, stealing her breath, then, when Selya struggled, softened the kisses to gentle, tender ones.
Dietrich explored Selya’s body with his hands.
Every time his large hands brushed against her, Selya felt faint.
Wherever Dietrich touched, shivers ran through her.
Her eyelashes trembled.
Waking up in a sunlit room and already being in such a state with Dietrich was embarrassing.
Yet, beyond embarrassment, it felt incredible.
Perhaps because it was Dietrich.
As they kissed desperately, Dietrich gripped Selya’s hands and murmured softly.
“…It might hurt a little.”
Selya wrapped her other hand around his back and replied.
“I want you.”
Dietrich could no longer hold back.
What had been playful moments before surged like a tidal wave.
“A little” isn’t quite right.
Selya wanted to protest, but as Dietrich moved, she could say nothing.
Her vision flashed white.
Dietrich intertwined her fingers and pressed a kiss to her forehead, whispering tenderly.
“If you dislike it, I won’t do it.”
He stopped moving and looked down at her.
Seeing Dietrich with eyes glittering with desire, wanting her intensely, Selya barely managed to speak.
“B… because it’s you, it’s okay.”
Dietrich hugged her as if he would crush her.
Selya melted in his arms.
Dietrich never took his eyes off her, not missing a single breath, not a trembling eyelash.
He kissed her body everywhere, as if overwhelmed by how lovely she was.
Selya, drowsy-eyed, stared at him holding her tightly.
She felt her body healing.
It was as if life itself was being poured into her broken body.
The stagnant, corrupted blood inside her seemed purified.
Dietrich had said the best way to heal her limited-time body was by intertwining their bodies—and he was right.
Her body was healing steadily, but Selya could hardly keep her mind intact.
Like a beast driven by instinct, Dietrich kissed every part of her.
Because of his overwhelming prowess, Selya’s reason flew far away.
She clung desperately to him.
Looking at her disheveled self, Dietrich’s eyes overflowed with affection.
Selya felt her chest warm.
Their eyes met, and Dietrich kissed her frantically.
Something soft and tender entered her.
With Dietrich alternating between extreme gentleness and pushing limits, Selya could not think straight.
Energy flowed into her while simultaneously being drained by him.
Their breaths mingled, and wet sounds echoed through the room.
Selya couldn’t tell if Dietrich had swallowed her lips or herself.
And so, she remained in his arms for a long time.
“Did you hear the news? The underground prison in the royal palace completely burned down. The prisoners’ bodies were unrecognizable.”
“Oh my.”
“Who on earth would do something like that…”
The palace maids whispered in a cluster.
The royal palace had completely restricted outside access, so only very limited information was available.
The palace maids did not even know that Ieleon had been imprisoned.
Since Dietrich had said that the new emperor was ill in bed, the maids only vaguely guessed that His Majesty was seriously ill.
“Am I the only one who feels the palace atmosphere is tense lately? Ministers are dying, and now even the emperor…”
The palace maids glanced at each other as they spoke.
Speaking carelessly could cost their lives, so before saying anything important, the maids checked their surroundings and minimized their speech.
“It must all be the work of the witch, right? Wearing the guise of Brillion’s angel…”
One maid started, and the conversation naturally turned that way.
“Even the Duke of Calypso, who never looked at women, seems completely smitten. I wonder what trick was used.”
“Exactly. That’s what I mean.”
“Duke Calypso strictly controls palace exits, so we can’t even know what’s happening outside…”
The maids sighed deeply.
Dietrich’s knights controlled the palace gates in shifts, leaving no way to sneak out.
“I should have kept a messenger bird. Then we could at least know the outside situation.”
A nearby maid clapped in agreement at the complaint.
“I know a maid with a messenger bird.”
“!”
“She recently started serving the new emperor. Strangely, she’s blind. Her name was… Eli, I think.”
“Where is she?”
“Since she serves the emperor, probably in the imperial palace?”
The maids rushed to the imperial palace to find Eli.
However, a knight guarding the palace stopped them from entering.
“You cannot enter the imperial palace.”
“Why not?”
“His Majesty is in bed, and you are not palace staff.”
The knight repeated what Dietrich had told him.
Despite the maids’ pleading eyes, it made no difference.
One maid cautiously added.
“Then, could you call the maid named Eli?”
Hearing the name, the knight raised one eyebrow.
“Why ask for her?”
“She’s a friend of mine.”
Although she wasn’t actually, the maid lied.
The knight stared at her face and said,
“…It’s better you don’t know.”
“Why not?”
