The Hero Who Ended Witch Hunts
Countless innocent women accused of witchcraft were saved by one man—Chesion Edel, the Grand Duke who eradicated witch hunts.
Among those he rescued, Gremory was found in the most horrific state.
After razing the village that had done this to her, Chesion turned to her and said:
“Do you have nowhere to go? Come with me.”
And so, he willingly took her into his care, bringing her back to his grand ducal estate.
Gremory, the Witch, Was Baffled.
She had been living just fine in her dark, cozy nest—until some Grand Duke bulldozed her home and kidnapped her.
“You can’t eat any food at all? It must be because of the torture you endured.”
“Don’t worry, no one will harm you here.”
“This is called a ‘straw.’ You use it like… this.”
Gremory stared at Chesion—who was desperately trying to feed her human food—as if he were some kind of monkey.
