I was a soldier in the Republic of Korea Army Special Forces when I died during training. Then, I was reincarnated into a novel.
The problem? I was now just a five-year-old child.
If my uncle catches me, he’ll only use me before ultimately discarding me. To survive, I must twist the original story and escape.
So I decided to seek refuge in the Grand Duke’s household.
“Will you become my daughter-in-law?”

But… why did my old soldier habits come with me?
I was just trying to stay loyal to the Grand Duke’s family and live a quiet life, but for some reason, everyone started loving me.
In fact, they loved me so much that discipline began to crumble.

“Follow my lead. If you can’t, prepare for punishment!”
“Your comfortable days ended yesterday!”
I kept drilling them in proper military discipline, but why did they just keep grinning like fools?
Still, as long as everyone liked me, I thought I could live peacefully.
That was until my uncle and the temple discovered my magic and claimed ownership over me.
“That engagement is invalid. We have an officially notarized contract.”
“You sure have a way with nonsense. Say that again, and I’ll rip your mouth apart.”
There was no way my father-in-law would hand me over without a fight.
“Son! Rather than give up my future granddaughter-in-law, this means war!”
And my grandfather-in-law took it a step further.
“Wife, where have you been? I almost destroyed the Empire looking for you. Never make me wait again.”
As the Empire fell into chaos, someone who claimed my true ownership finally appeared.
At this rate… I might really be the reason the Empire collapses.
