Story 50
Intercom
When I was working part-time at a pachinko parlor,
the employees used intercoms to talk with each other.
Of course, we used them for work-related communication,
but since we got along pretty well, we often joked around or chatted casually through them too.
One day, though, something strange happened.
A child’s voice suddenly came through the intercom.
Everyone else heard it too—so I knew it wasn’t just my imagination.
It was a young, innocent-sounding voice.
…
“Let’s die together.”
