Rivals Claim to be the Father of the Child

A magical attempt to defeat my rival, Aska, failed miserably. It went in a completely unexpected direction.

“Are you a kidnapper? If you are, you picked the wrong person!”

“…Could it be that she is actually the younger me from when I was six?”

I didn’t just go back in time to when I was six years old—I actually summoned my six-year-old self! Changing the timeline is forbidden magic for wizards. If anyone finds out, I’ll be fired from the royal court, kicked out of the magic association, mocked by my rivals, and lose my mana core.

I tried to quickly send my younger self back to the right time before the side effects of forbidden magic, called “cracks,” took hold. But, of course, my rivals caught me.

“Who is this kid?” one of them asked.

“She, she’s my… my daughter!”

In an attempt to explain things quickly, my excuse turned into a huge misunderstanding, and my relationship with my rivals and enemies changed dramatically.

“Dad, try it.”

“Hey, kid, want a piggyback ride?” one of them said.

“I’ll give land to the daughter of the great one,” another one added.

Now, my rivals started acting like they were the fathers of my little self.
