MID 53

MID

Chapter – 53

I end up worrying every day.
As expected, the large proportion of bear stocks makes me anxious when the market rebounds.
Fortunately, I made about 30,000 yen in short-term trades, so I realized that profit and cut losses on some of the bear stocks.
Tomorrow’s CPI is likely to cause major fluctuations, but I decided to adjust the proportions to avoid loosening my grip.
After all, my goal is long-term investment, so bear stocks are just insurance.

The drop is incredible.
Unexpectedly, the market is rising, and my bear stocks are dragging me down badly.
Even so, recovering more than 50,000 yen daily provides some comfort.
I still can’t remove my bear stocks because I’m afraid of a crash.
Will the CPI tonight cause another rise?

It’s 2024. I started using the new NISA system.

I had sworn that I would never touch stocks again.
Yes, I really did.

And yet—
More than ten years ago,

After the Lehman Shock,
I stepped back into the market once again.

Just with 1 million yen.
I told myself I would withdraw cleanly if I lost.

Just as I had declared,
I pulled out of the stock market after losing several hundred thousand yen.

It’s a bitter memory. (LOL)

Since then,
I steadily saved money,
and it eventually grew into a considerable amount.

Even though I should have known better, I started investing in stocks again.
I figured I’d probably leave around 5 million yen behind when I die anyway,
so why not invest and grow the money I plan to leave for my son?

With that simple thought, I began investing again.
Now, a year and a half later, how are things looking?
