I was watching a YouTube video explaining Intel.
That company is also one of the global semiconductor-related stocks included in my fund.

Wow.
I’ve actually become a shareholder of such a top-tier company.
This is on a completely different level from just “making money.”
I’ve made up my mind to keep holding it.
I feel truly lucky to have found an investment trust that includes over ten world-class companies.

Next week, I plan to invest an additional ¥200,000, and during the autumn market downturn, I’ll buy another ¥1,000,000 worth.
By the end of the year, I’ll be holding ¥4,000,000 in total.
I’ll also invest another ¥1,000,000 in U.S. government bonds.
My regular investments are in the Nikkei and TOPIX.
Rakuten’s set funds and dividend stocks are for solid, long-term holding.
I must say—it’s a well-balanced portfolio.

I’m totally patting myself on the back here. (lol)
Please forgive me—my investments had been going so well that I got a little carried away.
…But a painful payback was waiting for me after this.

It’s 2024. I started using the new NISA system.

I had sworn that I would never touch stocks again.
Yes, I really did.

And yet—
More than ten years ago,

After the Lehman Shock,
I stepped back into the market once again.

Just with 1 million yen.
I told myself I would withdraw cleanly if I lost.

Just as I had declared,
I pulled out of the stock market after losing several hundred thousand yen.

It’s a bitter memory. (LOL)

Since then,
I steadily saved money,
and it eventually grew into a considerable amount.

Even though I should have known better, I started investing in stocks again.
I figured I’d probably leave around 5 million yen behind when I die anyway,
so why not invest and grow the money I plan to leave for my son?

With that simple thought, I began investing again.
Now, a year and a half later, how are things looking?
