Synopsis

“This… is reality…?”

Could it be that the vivid memories of those nine years were nothing but a dream from a single night?

“I… was on the battlefield.”

Lanzé, the illegitimate daughter of a count, became a soldier in place of her half-sisters and cousins. She lost her life on the battlefield, but by an unknown miracle, she returns to the past at sixteen years old.

Given a second chance, there’s no way she can live the same way as before.
As she dreams of a new life, Lanzé thinks of her partner, Lennart.

“There’s a senior in the capital.”

If she could see with her own eyes that he’s safe, even here, she thinks it might ease her heart.

“He might think I’m crazy if I suddenly show up and call out to him.”

But staying quietly in the attic like before sounds far worse than that.

“I can just slip some travel money from the safe.”

Just as Lanzé decides to run away and cracks open the safe, a new truth is revealed…
