Chapter 66
“From now on, don’t hide anything from me.”
If the feelings you’ve kept hidden are truly sincere—
show me.
“Okay,” Seo Isu answered softly.
Looking into his eyes, Seung-eon’s voice deepened.
“I don’t believe words alone.”
“Then what should I do?”
“Kiss me.”
Lifting a finger, Seung-eon pointed first to his own lips, then to hers.
“As a real promise — kiss me.”
Would he hesitate? If his earlier words were lies, surely he would.
But he didn’t.
Without hesitation, Isu leaned in and kissed her.
All of Seung-eon’s doubts — the suspicions and uncertainty swirling in her mind — melted away the instant their lips met.
Her breath caught; the closeness burned through her restraint.
The kiss deepened, blurring reason and thought, until all that remained was the pounding of their hearts and the sound of uneven breathing.
When they finally parted, Seung-eon lay back on the bed, dazed, unable to understand how she had lost control so easily.
Isu, his expression unreadable, brushed his thumb across her lips still wet from the kiss.
“…Crazy,” she murmured, stunned by the heat between them.
Tilting his head slightly, Isu looked down at her.
Seung-eon flushed. “No, it’s just… you’re too sexy.”
Her heart refused to calm down. Even a simple touch from him set it racing again.
Then Isu whispered, “That was only the beginning.”
Before she could respond, his lips brushed her jaw, then traced a path lower. The warmth of his breath sent shivers through her, and her hands instinctively clutched at his clothes.
The air between them grew heavy. The world seemed to shrink until there was nothing but the two of them, the sound of their breathing, and the pale moonlight spilling across the bed.
Her mind blurred between dream and reality — she wasn’t sure which this was anymore.
“Director,” Isu murmured gently near her ear, voice low and intimate. “You don’t have to be nervous. Just do what you always do.”
Those words made Seung-eon pause. Do what I always do?
Slowly, fragments of memory flickered in her mind — hazy dreams that felt too real.
Scenes of warmth, of whispered promises:
“Don’t go.”
“I won’t. I’d never leave you.”
Her heartbeat grew wild. Was that dream truly a dream? Or… a memory?
Seeing the confusion and emotion in her face, Isu’s gaze softened.
“You remembered something, didn’t you?” he said quietly.
Seung-eon couldn’t answer — her flushed cheeks said it all.
“If you truly trust me,” he whispered, leaning closer,
“then let me take care of you.”
