Synopsis
“The Adrian family has requested a marriage alliance. You are to marry him.”
Alicia Viclas, the illegitimate child of the Viclas family,
was sent to the duke’s house as a substitute for her half-sibling, whose life was under threat.
She was to die in place of the family’s one and only cherished jewel, Helena Viclas.
