Leonard Klein will probably ace the exams again this time… should I confess to him and completely wreck his mental state?
I barely managed to enroll in the academy with sponsorship,
only to have the top spot constantly snatched away by a classmate who’s perfect in every way.
It’s infuriating—this guy who turns people’s insides upside down without a care, yet still smiles so innocently as the top student. And it’s miserable, being stuck in second place every single time.
So I decided to shake him up with a confession I didn’t even mean.
That’s all it was supposed to be…
But why isn’t he the one getting shaken? Why is his face turning red instead?

“R-Really…? You mean it?”

While I was still letting out a dumb, stunned sound, Leonard strode toward me and firmly grabbed my hand.
Then, in a voice soaked with joy, he let out something like a breath:
“I’m so happy, Raven.”
His violet eyes curved gently, like a drawn bow, as if he were completely enraptured.
Somewhere deep inside, a sense of unease began to creep in.
…Don’t tell me this guy actually likes me?
“Then we’re dating now, right?”
