Unlike last time when I came with Haryeong, this time Yuchan, our dealer, remembered to bring the fairy branch. Thanks to that, we went straight to the final boss without wasting time spacing out.
As expected, since it wasn’t my very first time here, the dungeon run went more smoothly than before.
I attacked diligently, used my defense skills at the right times, dodged ground effects, and before I knew it, we had cleared the last boss and the exit appeared.

Because honestly, even the beginner dungeon that’s supposed to be super easy for newcomers took me some time to get used to. But now, whether it’s the Hall of the Abyss or this dungeon, which are both harder than the first one, I found myself progressing more comfortably after just one visit. Even now, the other two seemed desperate to leave quickly, but Hwansung held them back, making Sooki and Yuchan grumble.

So the reason Hwansung stopped everyone from leaving was because he wanted screenshots. He claimed he wasn’t good at it himself, so if more people took them, at least one would turn out good.
But I thought differently. Back at the in-game wedding, Hwansung’s screenshots of me were actually really nice. Sure, he blurred Sooki’s face, but he even did some editing.

Anyway, despite having cleared the dungeon, Sooki and Yuchan had no choice but to stay and put away their dazzling weapons to take pictures of me and Hwansung.
Now, instead of dual blade and assassin, they had to become photographers.
There were a lot of screenshot-worthy spots in this dungeon, but the best one was where the moon wasn’t obscured by the trees.
But it only worked if you stood in one precise spot, so Hwansung, who normally never cared about screenshots, spent quite a while wandering around trying to find it.

Then I quickly ran over to the same place where I had stood with Haryeong before.

I started jumping to signal him to come.
As soon as I sent the message, Hwansung froze mid-search. He stared at me silently, then began walking straight toward me.
“Now when Hwansung just stares without saying anything, it’s kind of scary……”
I found myself tense, wondering what he’d say. His silent approach felt less like a healer coming to help, and more like a boss monster advancing.
When he reached me, he looked around.

I sighed in relief after reading his message.

Ah. He wasn’t glaring at me—he was just wondering how I, someone who came here for the first time, could know about such a hidden spot. I had anticipated this question and had prepared an excuse.

A hurried-looking message from Yuchan appeared. He typed one character first to draw attention, then rushed out the rest.

At that, Yuchan fell silent. A heavy silence filled the chat window.
I was glad I wasn’t on voice chat, or else they would’ve heard me swallow nervously.

From Yuchan’s chat, I realized something for sure. Jankyung must have told the others—well, everyone except Hwansung—that I’d been to this dungeon before. Otherwise, Yuchan wouldn’t have said that.
I remembered how pale Yuchan had been at the PC café when talking about the “official couple #1.” And now he was the one to bring it up, just to cover for me……

Thankfully, Hwansung didn’t press further and came to stand beside me.
Unlike with Haryeong, the height difference wasn’t huge—it matched well. Haryeong’s character only reached my thigh, but mine came up to Hwansung’s chest.
We used emotes to pose together.

I thought they’d snap a quick shot, but to my surprise, they were putting in real effort. The photo they uploaded to the guild board turned out really nice.

My character used the hug emote on Hwansung. It was the same place, same pose as when I did it with Haryeong—the only difference was the person.
Back then, the height gap forced me to sit, but with Hwansung, the proportions matched. He could use the hug emote back.
So he did.

Even though it was a common emote we’d all used before in front of guild members, somehow it felt a little embarrassing now. Maybe because only the two of them were watching. I’d never felt like this before.
