Story 62
Long Time No See
My late husband loved cream soda. Whenever we went to a café, he would often order it.
Today marks ten years since his death. On my way home from visiting his grave, I happened to find a café that seemed like the kind he would have liked, so I went in.
As I sat alone at a table, a waiter placed a cream soda on the seat across from me.
Then the waiter said:
“It’s been a while.”
