Super Side Story 03
From the open door, faint floral scents drifted in—enough to tell that there was a garden outside.
“Mm.”
Lahan quickly washed himself and sank into the hot water. Though he had pushed Eris away earlier, in truth he wanted to hold his wife more than anyone else. His heart fluttered uncontrollably.
“I’m coming in.”
Eris entered the room a step behind, having just finished removing the hair ornaments from her pinned-up hair. She wore a sleeveless, light, and airy under-tunic.
“Nobles really have so many rules to follow, even between husband and wife. The maids said I couldn’t enter bare-skinned, so I was delayed.”
She murmured the complaint with a pout. Lahan only groaned in response. Sitting on the edge of the bathtub with her feet in the water, Eris’s eyes went wide.
“Why?”
“The maids are clever.”
Lahan wiped his face a couple of times, then pulled Eris closer, resting his face against her thigh.
“If you hadn’t worn that, I wouldn’t have been able to control myself…”
A small murmur, and Eris’s cheeks flushed deeply as she glimpsed what was happening below the water.
Lahan supported his wife’s upper body with one hand while leaning in. With the other, he grasped Eris’s hand that had been bracing his own. Then he pressed his soft lips to hers.
“Mm…”
A quiet moan slipped through their connected lips. Though not loud, it sent a shiver down Lahan’s abdomen.
He tilted his head, licking her tender lips and exploring slowly with his tongue. The little tongue that met his was unbearably adorable.
If he didn’t want to hold his wife, it would have been a lie. But Lahan had witnessed how much blood Eris had lost giving birth.
While their son Wilbert was truly cute, honestly, Lahan worried far more about Eris than the baby.
He had even thought, in passing, that if it was so painful, he wouldn’t mind never holding her again.
He realized how arrogant that thought had been. The taste of Eris in his mouth was sweet, and restraining the urge to devour her completely was nearly impossible. Excessive patience only made him more restless.
“Eris, come up. You’re cold.”
Lahan pulled her onto his lap, bringing her into the warm water. Her soft hands gripping his shoulders twitched; he kissed them, then bit the nape of her neck. Eris giggled.
“Ticklish.”
Lahan traced his hands along her waist. Every movement made her flinch and gasp softly.
“You’re beautiful.”
Steam from the hot spring had already dampened her cheeks. Lahan nibbled and sucked from her neck down to her collarbone, leaving faint pink marks on her pale skin.
“Mm…”
He licked, sucked, and bit her tender skin. Just a few twists of her body had Lahan utterly aroused.
“I can’t.”
“Huh?”
It had been too long. If he indulged himself first, Eris would surely be disappointed.
He kissed her nape, tongue exploring the warm interior, and she whispered quickly, “That’s fine,” but he shook his head.
“It’s been too long. Not yet.”
This had happened before. Lahan always obeyed Eris’s words—but in times like this, he was stubborn. Eris knew this well.
Still, she held his neck, kissing him fervently, while her other hand reached down.
“I’ll do it.”
“No, ugh.”
Lahan groaned as she moved faster than him.
“Don’t like it?”
“Ugh…”
Overwhelmed with arousal, Lahan swallowed his breath. Eris smiled softly, eyes wide, and laughed.
His eyes reddened. Unable to control his pleasure, he bit and sucked her lips and cheeks.
“Mm… yes…”
Soon, he noticed Eris was too focused on him to concentrate on the kisses. Her own pleasure had taken a backseat.
He bit firmly just below her lips.
“Ah!”
Startled, Eris instinctively released her hands. Lahan lifted her onto the edge of the tub, pressing her against him, kissing her again, and then boldly nibbled at her chest.
“Yes… ah. Lahan, I…”
“Ha… Eris. It’s okay.”
He licked over her tunic. Lahan knew himself well—he could be satisfied by Eris’s scent alone.
“Ah…”
Eris shrank into him as his hand explored beneath the wet fabric. She could do nothing, pinned by his weight.
“The doctor said it’s okay…”
She looked up at him, cheeks flushed, green eyes bright with expectant delight.
Lahan chuckled softly.
“Let’s make sure, then.”
He lifted the hem of her tunic. A shiver of pleasure ran along her spine.
The main act was about to begin.
“Feels like I’m dying… I have no strength…”
Lahan slipped his hands under her thighs, lifting her into the water. Eris melted into the warmth, completely relaxed.
“Don’t die on me.”
He held her gently, one hand supporting her waist, the other skillfully taking the sponge.
Washing her body, now soiled with various fluids, was a delight in itself. Eris, used to Lahan bathing her, entrusted herself fully.
“Haah.”
Cleaned, she leaned against his chest, letting the circulating hot water embrace them.
Lahan pressed a soft kiss to her ear. She shivered and laughed.
“Ticklish.”
Normally, after bathing, she would go straight to bed—almost always asleep by then. But Lahan had something to say, so he held her in the water.
“Eris.”
“Hmm?”
“Shall we get married?”
Eris, lounging in his arms, turned in disbelief. Her green eyes seemed to say, Aren’t we already married? Was it only me who thought so?
Too adorable.
Normally, he would have explained right away, but her shocked expression was too cute. Lahan couldn’t help but laugh.
