A Place Where This World and the Next Are Connected
At a certain elementary school, there is one legend among the school’s “Seven Mysteries.”
It says that if you exit through the back gate, turn left, and pass through the 30-centimeter gap between the third utility pole and the guardrail, you’ll be transported straight to the other world.
Among the children, this rumor is very well-known.
Because of it, most of them are too scared to go anywhere near that pole.
However, from time to time, a daring, hot-blooded kid—the kind who likes to show off—will jokingly squeeze through that narrow space between the pole and the guardrail.
In fact, at this very elementary school, several children have gone missing over the years.
