Lu Li exhaled a soft laugh, gentle and pleasant.
Mu Wanwan snorted. “What does it have to do with you?”
“You’re the rogue.”
Mu Wanwan raised a hand to pat her own head, eyes clouded with confusion. Lu Li lowered his gaze to look at her clueless, cute expression, chuckling softly.
The heat on her cheeks spread to her ears. Mu Wanwan glared at him in mild anger. “Go away.”
She hesitated, then pinched his cheek harder. Lu Li’s brows drew together. “Mu Wanwan, getting bolder, huh?”
He raised an eyebrow, a charming rogue smile on his face. “And what about it?”
He would burn all those love letters—leave not a single one.
He imitated her earlier gesture, his long fingers gently pinching her cheeks. Mu Wanwan scrunched up her face. “What are you doing?”
“Of course it hurts.”
Mu Wanwan stood frozen, eyes wide, completely shocked at the man in front of her.
After a long moment, she asked hoarsely, “Wh-what did you just say?”
Lu Li laughed at her overly shocked expression. “Mu little fool, listen carefully. Being rogue like this, I only do it to you. Understand now?”
Mu Wanwan lowered her head, pouting, feeling wronged. “But… you’ve accepted love letters from other girls before.”
