Story 86
A Sudden Letter
To Father and Mother,
I’m sorry for disappearing so suddenly. For now, I am living well and safely. So please don’t worry.
It’s been almost a year since I was told I only had one month left to live. Normally, I wouldn’t still be alive, but as you can see, I am.
I am alive, but due to various circumstances, unfortunately, I can’t meet you. Even so, please don’t worry. I’m alive.
Because of complicated circumstances, I will never again be able to appear before the two of you, but I am always wishing for your safety and happiness. So please, both of you, keep looking forward and live your lives.
Lastly, I want to say this: I am alive. I truly am alive.
