Story 75
What Is a Nightmare?
When I was infected with a terrifying strange illness, I was prescribed a medicine that was said to be highly effective—
but would cause nightmares after taking it.
I was scared of what kind of nightmares I might see, yet for the sake of treatment, I had no choice.
I decided to take the medicine.
But the dream I saw that night was as if I were in heaven.
I wanted to stay there forever.
I wished I would never wake up.
—Ah, I see. So this is what a nightmare is.
