Chapter 5
– For a Current Idol, You Sure…
Even though he had pulled his cap down low,
“That guy is sooo handsome! Which school uniform is that?”
“Where, where? Wow, seriously… he’s so hot!”
His “handsome aura” was leaking out everywhere, and the girls in the café who noticed it began whispering excitedly to each other.
“Haa… see? Girls who don’t know your true nature are squealing again. You really shouldn’t do things that could be misunderstood, like that ‘aaahn~’ thing…”
Even though I warned him, he still pushed a forkful of cake loaded with whipped cream into my mouth.
Then he tore open his own paper napkin and gently wiped the cream off the corner of my lips. Wiping and wiping—while looking ridiculously pleased with himself.
“H-hey… what do you think you’re doing?!”
I was ready to scold him, but then—
“Eeeh, no way, that’s so cute!”
“Ugh, I wanna know what it’s like to be pampered by a hot guy like that!”
The girls around us started buzzing louder, so I held myself back.
If we drew attention here and people realized Ryūga was a current idol, my life would basically be over.
I could already see the future: being gossiped about every day with a guy I wasn’t even dating, rumors and lies flying everywhere, endless backlash, and my peaceful everyday life destroyed.
“Listen, you’re still an idol right now. You need to take more responsibility for your actions. I even heard Fūma used to get warned about that back when he was still active.”
“I am being responsible. Totally. If it’s with you, Risa-chan, I don’t mind ending up in the tabloids.”
“…Huh? What kind of stupid thing are you saying? Seriously, Ryūga—”
I was just about to give him another earful when—
“Um, excuse me… you’re Ryūga from that idol group, right?”
A girl approached us. She was so incredibly pretty, so refined and innocent-looking, that I thought every single guy nearby would’ve turned his head the moment she spoke.
